The College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences offers a bachelor of science in general sciences (BSGS) with a concentration in pharmaceutical sciences. This degree option is only offered to Campbell University students that have completed the general college curriculum, ancillary courses required for the BSPS major, all first-year courses of the BSPS, and one year of the CPHS Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum.

The Pharmaceutical Sciences program advisors will work with these students during matriculation of the first-year BSPS courses. After acceptance into the Campbell Doctor of Pharmacy program, students can declare their intent to earn the BSGS with this concentration. The program director will confirm that the degree requirements have been met.

Students benefit from earning a B.S. after four years of matriculation, including one year of matriculation after acceptance into the Campbell Doctor of Pharmacy program. A B.S. degree combined with the Doctor of Pharmacy may provide graduates with additional opportunities in the future.

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these Policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.
