Designed for juniors/seniors. Analysis of the methods and consequences of arriving at collective decisions through political mechanisms. Applies economic theory and methodology to the study of nonmarket decision making. Topics include free-rider problems, voting, majority choice, demand revelation, and political bargaining. Fall Semester Prerequisite(s): ECON 201  and ECON 202 .
