Honors Program

The mission of the Campbell University Honors Program is to foster a community of undergraduate scholars dedicated to academic excellence, interdisciplinary inquiry, and cultural and global engagement.

To achieve this mission, Honors students take a sequence of challenging, interdisciplinary classes as well as electives.

Admission to the Honors Program is highly competitive (by invitation only) and limited to first-semester freshmen.

To remain in the Honors Program, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and make continued progress through the Honors curriculum.

The Honors Program Curriculum


To complete the Honors Program, students must successfully complete a total of 25 credit hours, including 19 hours of required Honors courses and 6 hours of Honors electives.
