Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Major Requirements

Students who wish to acquire a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Pre-Law Criminal Justice Administration must, in addition to the General College Curriculum , complete the following courses with a “C” average or better in the major:

• CRIM 280 - Introduction to Law Enforcement (3)
• CRIM 339 - Ethics in Government (3)
• CRIM 360 - Criminal Justice Administration (3)
• CRIM 361 - Criminal Law (3)
• CRIM 362 - Juvenile Justice (3)
• CRIM 430 - Correctional Philosophies and Issues (3)
• CRIM 441 - Criminal Justice Policy (3)
• CRIM 454 - Internship (3)
• CRIM 482 - Seminar in Criminal Procedure (4)
• a CRIM elective
