Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Major Requirements

Candidates must complete with a “C” average or better, at least 57 semester hours in the social sciences distributed as follows:

• CRIM 231 - Introduction to Criminal Justice (3)
• CRIM 232 - Introduction to Criminology (3)
• CRIM 270 - Courts and Procedures (3)
• CRIM 280 - Introduction to Law Enforcement (3)
• CRIM 339 - Ethics in Government (3)
• CRIM 441 - Criminal Justice Policy (3)
• MATH 160 - Elementary Statistics (3)
