IX. Achieve satisfactory grade point averages

- A minimum grade point average of 2.000 in the major.
- A minimum grade point average of 2.000 on all work attempted at Campbell University.
- Some departments require that all courses in the major have a minimum grade of “C”.
- Teacher Certification program (majors) require a 2.700 and a “C” in all professional education courses.
- Social Work majors are required to complete a 2.25 GPA.
- Engineering majors must make a “C” or better in all math, science and engineering courses.
- Nursing majors must have a “C” or better in all courses required for the program.
- Any pre-professional science (i.e. biology, chemistry, etc) major must ahve a “C” or better in all required science courses for the respective major.
- Communication Studies majors must have a “C” or better in each course in the major.
Please note that the responsibility for meeting the requirements for graduation rests upon the student in all cases.
