Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Major Requirements

Majors with a concentration in Theatre Management will take the Theatre Arts Core, 3 hours of THEA electives, and the following credit hours:

• THEA 461 - Internship (3)
• MKTG 310 - Principles of Marketing (3)
• MGMT 320 - Principles of Management (3)
• MKTG 410 - Advertising (3)
• ACCT 213 - Accounting Principles (3)

Theatre Arts Core (27 credits)

All majors are required to participate in the theatrical productions of the department every semester. To meet this requirement, all majors must register for one section of Practicum (THEA 224  -THEA 231 ) each semester.
