Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation and Undergraduate Academic Policies . As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Admission Requirements for Teacher Education

In addition to general admission requirements for Campbell University, students seeking initial North Carolina Teacher Licensure must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program prior to their junior year. Admission requirements for Teacher Education include a 2.7 overall GPA, a grade of “C” or better on all content area and education courses and passing the Core Praxis Exam (or acceptable SAT/ACT scores). All prospective teachers must possess a 2.7 average overall in order to be admitted to the teacher education program where they will complete the School of Education requirements for licensure.
