Admission Requirements for Teacher Education
In addition to general admission requirements for Campbell University, students seeking initial North Carolina Teacher Licensure must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program prior to their junior year. Admission requirements for Teacher Education include a 2.7 overall GPA, a grade of “C” or better on all content area and education courses and passing the Core Praxis Exam (or acceptable SAT/ACT scores). Please see your advisor in the Professional Education Department for all additional North Carolina Licensure Requirements.
Take One Course from 3 of the 5 Groups
Education Courses
All prospective teachers must possess a 2.7 average overall in order to be admitted to the teacher education program where they will complete the School of Education requirements for licensure.
