Major Requirements
A candidate for the Bachelor’s degree with a major in biochemistry must satisfactorily complete the following courses in biology and chemistry:

Note:
Research (BIOL 441 , CHEM 445 , and CHEM 446 ) cannot be taken for more than 4 of the 9 credits of biochemistry electives.
Physics
One year of calculus-based physics
Note:
Are required of a biochemistry major. Candidates who are considering graduate studies are recommended to take an additional year of calculus and an additional 300 or 400 level BIOL or CHEM course as electives.
