Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Major Requirements

Majors with a concentration in Drama & Christian Ministry will take the Theatre Arts Core, CHRS 202  (Old Testament) and CHRS 212  (New Testament) as part of their General College Curriculum requirements and the following 27 credit hours:

• THEA 113 - Vocal Performance (3)
• THEA 332 - Theatre History from 1800 to the Present (3) - one per year, minimum two total
• THEA 342 - Advanced Directing (3)
• THEA 461 - Internship (3)

Theatre Arts Core (27 credits)

All majors are required to participate in the theatrical productions of the department every semester. To meet this requirement, all majors must register for one section of Practicum (THEA 224  -THEA 231 ) each semester.
