Athletic Training, B.S. (CIP 51.0913)

The Department of Exercise Science offers a degree in Athletic Training.  The Athletic Training Program has a secondary selective admission process which is publicly accessible via the Department of Exercise Science, and Athletic Training Program Application Materials.

Degree Requirements


In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation  and Undergraduate Academic Policies .  As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

Note:


EXER 252 , EXER 205 , EXER 206 , EXER 301 , EXER 302 , EXER 405 , and EXER 406  are clinical field experience courses. Clinical education will begin prior to or extend beyond the institution’s academic calendar which will require students to return to campus before the start date identified on the University academic calendar.  Students must provide their own transportation for all clinical education experiences. Expenses for transportation are the student’s financial obligation.  See the Athletic Training Program Director for pre-requisites and other requirements.
