Biblical Studies Minor Requirements

The Biblical Studies Minor consists of 18 ours taken from the following courses:

• Take at least 6 Hours of 200 level biblical studies courses:

• CHRS 202 - Old Testament Survey (3)
• CHRS 203 - Introduction to Biblical Interpretation (3)
• CHRS 212 - New Testament Survey (3)
• CHRS 214 - The Bible and Health (3)

• Take at least 6 Hours of 300 level biblical studies courses:

• CHRS 301 - Pentateuch (3)
• CHRS 302 - Prophetic Literature of the Old Testament (3)
• CHRS 304 - Poetic and Wisdom Literature (3)
• CHRS 305 - Jewish Backgrounds to the New Testament (3)
• CHRS 313 - Teachings of Jesus (3)
• CHRS 314 - Paul (3)
• CHRS 317 - The Gospel of John (3)
• CHRS 369 - Biblical Foundations for Family Ministry (3)
• CHRS 371 - Women in the Bible and the Church (3)
• The remaining 6 hours required for the 18 hour minor can be taken from any of the above courses not already completed.
