Engineering, Electrical Concentration, B.S.E. (CIP 14.0101)

The School of Engineering offers a B.S.E. (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) (C.I.P. 14.0101).

Students must choose one of the following four concentrations:

- Engineering (Bachelor of Science Engineering), B.S.E. (CIP 14.0101) Mechanical Engineering Concentration

- Engineering (Bachelor of Science Engineering), B.S.E. (CIP 14.0101) Electrical Engineering Concentration

- Engineering (Bachelor of Science Engineering), B.S.E. (CIP 14.0101) Chemical/Pharmaceutical Engineering Concentration

- Engineering (Bachelor of Science Engineering), B.S.E. (CIP 14.0101) Electromechanical Systems Engineering Concentration

Degree Requirements

In addition to the requirements of the academic major, students must comply with the General Academic Regulations for Graduation and Undergraduate Academic Policies . As part of these policies, students must complete the General College Curriculum , which is based on the degree.

MATH 115 - Precalculus (3)
Math 115 requirement may be waived for students with Advanced Placement (AP) or transfer credit for one or more of Math 122 Calculus I, Math 223 Calculus II, Math 224 Calculus III, Math 337 Differential Equations.
MATH 122 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus I (4)
MATH 223 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus II (4)
MATH 224 - Analytic Geometry and Calculus III (4)
MATH 310 - Differential Equations and Linear Algebra for Engineers (4)
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Concentration take all of the below science courses:
CHEM 111 - General Chemistry I (4)
CHEM 113 - General Chemistry II (4)
BIOL 111 - Basic Biology I (4)
PHYS 251 - Fundamentals of Physics I (4)
All other ENGR concentrations have the option of taking CHEM 113 or BIOL 111 , in addition to the other science courses in the list.
